The province of Zeeland and SWYCS are joining forces again!

And we are proud of that! The province of Zeeland is working on a strong economy, a good living and working environment and the quality of the rural area. SWYCS is proud to operate its business from the capital of one of the most beautiful provinces in the Netherlands!

SWYCS and the province of Zeeland have previously found each other in an innovative project that fits seamlessly with the strategic agenda of the Zeeland Industry and Maintenance sector. Here, the province has financially supported SWYCS with the development of the SWYCS Industrial IoT Gateway, which was recently launched at the 25th edition of the facility and building management trade fair, see the unveiling in video here!

SWYCS will now help the province to gain control over the occupancy of spaces within its buildings and to gain insight into the indoor climate. All this will serve as a prelude to energy consumption based on actual occupancy. The kick-off meeting of the SWYCS occupancy rate monitoring system is already a fact.

With the SWYCS occupancy rate monitoring system, mistakes in occupied meeting rooms and/or workplaces become a thing of the past. Never before has it been so easy to reserve a space or workplace and see which one is available. It is also possible to see whether the desired workplace has the right indoor climate. Is a reserved space unexpectedly not being used? It will then be automatically released so that others can immediately use the space again.

Not only the occupancy but also the use of spaces are monitored. This puts an end to the use of a large room occupied by only a few people, and makes these rooms available for large groups that want to meet. There is also no need to carry out a check round after closing time to close open windows. The monitoring system detects windows that are open in places prone to burglary and signals this in a timely manner!
