HVHL chooses SWYCS to realise a monitoring system that will be used for (quiet) study places and teaching rooms.
The solution will also be used to book workplaces. At both locations the occupancy and usage system will be realised. A kiosk by entery of the building will give students direct insights in available or occupied spaces. Through the kiosk they will also be able to book spaces.
The solution will constantly measure and monitor. The data will also continually be analysed with optimizing schedules and building occupancy as a result. Real time dashboards will take care of optimal insight in the occupancy and usage of rooms.
The data will be collected in such a way that the education will not be hindered. The dashboard is modular, gives insight in the current and precious usage and through the use of a schedule comparing module give insight in planned schedules versus actual use. Using this the system can give up booked classrooms up for classes in case of a no-show.
This solution will contribute to the visibility of (free) spaces, classrooms and study work places within both locations. It will also give students and employees more insight in the usage of rooms. The solution is a base for forming the habit and use of students compared to the spaces and study work places. Analysis of this usage and possible preference for certain types of spaces can result in changes being made to the building for the better.
