IoT platform

The IoT platform by SWYCS is the heart of the smart building concept. The SWYCS IoT gateways that are linked to the IoT platform make sure that the platform gets fed with data. The data that gateways offer to the IoT platform are collected from the sensors linked to the gateway, actuators, devices and installations. External data sources that are connected to the IoT platform enrich the data from these sources with related external data to reach the ultimate information provision. All data on the IoT platform is encrypted and processed safely. Data is always available and gets backed up quite regularly, so there is no data loss. The platform supports data storage, device management and information analytics.

Digital Twin

The Digital Twin stands for a digital rendering of a factually physical product from the real world. It represents the building and all its traits; objects, processes, environment variables, underlying relations and behavior. It serves as the actually indistinguishable digital counterpart that is used for practical purposes such as simulation, (system)integration, testing monitoring and maintenance.
