A new European directive came into effect this year requiring large companies to report on their sustainability performance. Starting in 2026, this requirement will also apply to listed SMEs. While unlisted SMEs are not (yet) required to comply, producing reliable reports does deliver real value: better insight, lower costs, and a stronger sustainability position.
