Embedded Software Engineer

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a creative, cooperative programmer with demonstrable programming knowledge, who has enthusiasm for IoT-related solutions. You have an independent, flexible working attitude with a good imagination of modern solutions. You also analyze problems systematically and know how to express this into feasible tasks.
  • Minimum higher professional education working and thinking level
  • Experience with: (Embedded) Linux, C, C++, Python is an advantage
  • Experience with hardware interfaces such as GPIO, UART, SPI or I2C is an advantage
  • Affinity with electronics, experience with IoT hardware and software, bus systems, build tools and processes, OpenWrt, MQTT and LoRaWAN
  • Experience with ZeroMQ or similar networking and messaging software
  • Experience reading schematic electronic circuits and printed circuit board layouts
  • Experience with addressing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with embedded debugging, especially of the TI AM335xSO

A crucial part of SWYCS’s IoT solution is its IoT gateway. This gateway supports almost all common radios and protocols. Our gateway is continuously developed, equipped with new technologies and maintained at the highest possible security level.
