SWYCS and Radboud University Nijmegen have continued their collaboration in 2024 with innovative projects aimed at optimizing the occupancy and use of educational spaces.
By using advanced sensor technology, SWYCS provides valuable insights into how classrooms and lecture halls are used. This technology ensures that buildings can be used more efficiently, which not only leads to optimal occupancy, but also contributes to a more sustainable use of the facilities.
“With the insights we obtain from the sensors, we can achieve a significant improvement in the use of our teaching spaces,” says a spokesperson for Radboud University.
An important aspect of implementing these solutions was meeting the strict requirements that Radboud University sets for privacy and security. SWYCS has developed systems that are fully in line with the applicable privacy legislation and the university’s high security standards. This ensures that building users can be assured of a safe and privacy-friendly environment.
SWYCS looks back with pride on the recent expansions of the project and the results achieved in 2024. Both parties see the collaboration as a great success and look forward to continuing this partnership in 2025.
