Actuators

Actuators are smart IoT devices that can assist you in making a building smart. There are a bunch of different varieties of actuators in different forms. For example, there are controllers that can control ventilation systems, smart switches that control lights, controllers that connect a building management system to the SWYCS IoT infrastructure! All actuators can be controlled through a dashboard or be automatically controlled through sensor data.

The characteristics of
SWYCS actuators

Multifunctional

Connect and control different equipment and installations.

install

Easy to install

Actuators are easy to install and are almost invisible.

Veilige-verbindingen

Secure connections

Communications between actuator, sensor and SWYCS IoT platform are secured by encryption.

App

Manage remotely

Actuators are controlled remotely through the dashboard, app on your phone, or automatically through sensor data.

Controller

The controller forms an interface tween two systems and controls communication between both. At SWYCS we offer different types of controllers for different user cases. They take care of the management of IoT solutions and make adding to it easier.

Area of application: Offices, health care facilities, educational facilities, hospitals, stores

Characteristics
• Manages and forms communication between two systems
• Power supply: 5-24 VDC via terminal block or via Type-C USB
• Protocol: wireless LoRa or mobile

Smart plug

The smart plug is a smart and portable plug where different electrical devices can be controlled and monitored. It is available in multiple international plug types and can be used locally or remotely.

Area of application: Offices, health care facilities, educational facilities, hospitals, stores

Characteristics
• Can be widely used for wireless control
• Protocol: wireless LoRa

Smart wall switch

With the smart wall switch, it is possible to control lights or other electrical appliances locally or remotely. Installation is simple, the smart wall switch has a common wall switch measurement and can easily replace traditional wall switches.

Area of application: Offices, health care facilities, educational facilities, hospitals, stores

Characteristics
• Can be widely used for wireless control
• Circuit type: 3-wire
• Protocol: wireless LoRa

Smart button

The smart button is a button where different sensors and actions can be connected to. The button is made to be portable or mount to a surface like a desk. There is also a red button that namely works as SOS alarm.

Area of application: Offices, health care facilities, educational facilities, hospitals, stores

Characteristics
• Multifunctional portable button
• Power supply: Battery powered
• Battery life: 5 years
• Protocol: wireless LoRa

Perform multiple actions with actuators

There are many different types of actuators to choose from. They are versatile and can therefore be used in all industries.

Actuators and sensors make the building infrastructure even smarter! Want to know if actuators and sensors can help you in making your building smarter?
