Projects
VDAB
For the project of VDAB, the public deployment service of Flanders, some rooms are being monitored for occupation and others for utilization. This information is used by management to get insight in the efficiency of building use. The information is the guideline in deciding whether to re-arrange some rooms, buy new rooms or cancel existing spaces.

Through this, students and employees got clear insight on the availability of study and work places, and can now easily book them.
Samen beslissen zeeland
Living at home longer and responsibly with dementia? That was the question of Samen Beslissen Zeeland, a project with a few involved healthcare organizations for Zeeuwse citizens with dementia. Lifestyle habits, care and welfare are monitored uniquely and deviations get flagged.

The Wageningen University was looking for an occupancy rate monitoring system for education facilities/spaces and meeting rooms. SWYCS applied their IoT and sensor platform with software to create an optimal insight in occupancy of buildings, rooms and workplaces. There is monitoring and no-show on the basis of building and room capacity as well as planned lectures.
Renewi
Eco Smart is part of Renewi, the largest waste and recycling company of the Benelux. Eco Smart developed a smart garbage can with a sensor that measures the filling grade of the cans.
